 Assistant Manager - TAX

Job Description


The Candidate will be part of OGA Tax team supporting UHG corporate Tax. His/her main responsibilities include preparing State income tax separate & combined, State extension & estimate return filings, preparing regulated entity tax provisions, Federal Tax Return preparation, Sales & use tax return preparation. Primary Responsibilities:
  • Prepare US Federal Income Tax Returns - 1120 and 1120PC
  • Communicate with US team members as per agreed terms with Business
  • Work on legal entity tax provisions
  • Prepare Sales and Use Tax returns
  • Demonstrate proficiency in the use of applicable software including Excel, Word, ONESOURCE, CCH, Bloomberg, RIA, BNA, etc.,
  • Demonstrate knowledge on applicable US Tax Regulations
  • Comply with the terms and conditions of the employment contract, company policies and procedures, and any and all directives (such as, but not limited to, transfer and/or re-assignment to different work locations, change in teams and/or work shifts, policies in regards to flexibility of work benefits and/or work environment, alternative work arrangements, and other decisions that may arise due to the changing business environment). The Company may adopt, vary or rescind these policies and directives in its absolute discretion and without any limitation (implied or otherwise) on its ability to do so

  • Required Qualifications:
  • Graduate in Accounting/ MBA in finance
  • Knowledge on Apportionment Concepts
  • Skills:
  • 2+ years of experience in US Corporate Tax
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Attention to details and accuracy
  • Make Fact-based decisions
  • Deliver quality results
  • Good Accounting skills
  • Able to work and deliver within tight deadlines
  • Working knowledge of software tools ( ExMS Excel, PowerBI,etc.)
  • Good knowledge in MS Excel (Pivots, Vlookup, Hlookup, Index etc.)
  • Ability to adhere to the timelines
