Job Description

Role & responsibilities:


  • Developing and implementing recruitment strategies: This includes defining hiring goals, conducting market research, and identifying suitable recruitment channels.
  • Managing the recruitment process: This encompasses tasks such as creating job postings, screening resumes, conducting interviews, and making hiring decisions.
  • Attracting and screening talent: Recruitment managers utilize various methods to attract potential candidates and evaluate their qualifications, skills, and cultural fit.
  • Building and maintaining a talent pipeline: This involves creating a network of potential candidates to draw upon for future openings.
  • Collaborating with hiring managers: Recruitment managers work closely with hiring managers to understand their specific needs and ensure alignment on hiring decisions.
  • Ensuring compliance: They must adhere to relevant employment laws and company policies regarding recruitment.
  • Managing the recruitment budget: They allocate and manage the recruitment budget effectively to ensure optimal utilization of resources.
  • Overseeing the work of the hiring team: Recruitment managers may supervise recruiters, providing guidance and support.
  • Tracking and evaluating recruitment metrics: They monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess the effectiveness of recruitment strategies.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Strong communication skills: The ability to effectively communicate with candidates, hiring managers, and other stakeholders.
  • Analytical skills: The ability to analyze data and identify trends in the talent market.
  • Leadership skills: The ability to lead and motivate a team of recruiters.
  • Understanding of HR practices and labor laws: The ability to navigate the complexities of employment regulations.
  • Experience with recruitment management systems (RMS): Proficiency in using software to manage the recruitment process.
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or a related field: While not always required, a degree in HR or a related field is often preferred.
  • Experience in recruiting, HR, or a related field: Prior experience in recruiting or HR roles is typically required.
