Job Description

Key Responsibilities
Develop, test, and maintain high-performance server-side applications using
Node.js and related technologies.
Design and build RESTful APIs and microservices to support frontend and mobile
functionality.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including frontend developers, product
managers, and DevOps to build scalable systems.
Optimize backend systems for performance, scalability, and reliability.
Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines to streamline deployment workflows.
Participate in Agile development cycles, including daily stand-ups, sprint
planning, and retrospectives.
Integrate and customize third-party APIs and services, especially within ecommerce
ecosystems like Shopify and WooCommerce.
Contribute to system design discussions and help build scalable, maintainable
architectures.
Skills & Qualifications
Must-Have:
Strong proficiency in Node.js for backend development.
Hands-on experience with MongoDB, including schema design and query
optimization.
Deep understanding of RESTful API design, including authentication,
authorization, and API versioning.
Experience developing microservices, ideally with AWS Lambda or similar
frameworks.
Good understanding of Agile methodologies.
Familiarity with Redis, AWS services (S3, Lambda, API Gateway, etc.), and
Docker for development purposes.
Experience with CI/CD pipelines, Git/Bitbucket workflows, and deployment
automation.
Proficient in debugging and solving complex server-side issues.
Knowledge of message brokers such as RabbitMQ or Kafka.
Ability to collaborate with frontend teams, with basic familiarity in React.
Understanding of scalable architecture, containerization (Docker), and
orchestration (Kubernetes).
Experience in working with e-commerce platforms such as Shopify, WooCommerce,
or similar.
Nice to Have:
Experience in multi-tenant SaaS architectures.
Exposure to testing frameworks and automation tools.
Background in analytics and performance monitoring tools (ELK, Prometheus).
Experience in SQL database like MySQL or MariaDB.
