Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled Jira Administrator to join our team and take charge of migrating projects from default schemes to customized schemes. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of Jira configurations, workflows, and project management methodologies.
Key Responsibilities:
Migrate projects from default schemes to customized schemes while ensuring minimal disruption to ongoing work.
Collaborate with project teams to understand their requirements and tailor Jira configurations to meet their needs.
Maintain and optimize Jira workflows, screens, fields, and permissions to support efficient project management processes.
Provide technical support and guidance to users on Jira-related issues and best practices.
Implement and enforce Jira security protocols and access controls.
Install, configure, and maintain Jira Software, Jira Service Management, and related Atlassian products.
Manage user permissions, roles, and group memberships.
Create, manage, and customize Jira workflows, schemes (issue type, screen, field configuration), and boards.
Develop and maintain custom dashboards and advanced filters for end-users reporting.
Integrate Jira with other tools and plugins to extend its functionality
Monitor the performance and stability of the Jira system, including troubleshooting and resolving issues.
Conduct regular system backups, updates, and migrations to ensure the system is up-to-date and secure.
Qualifications - External
Qualifications:
4-6 years of working experience on Jira administration.
In-depth knowledge of Jira configurations, including workflows, issue types, fields, and permissions.
Experience in migrating projects and configurations in Jira.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail.
Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
Strong understanding of Jira Software, Jira Service Management, and other Atlassian products.
Experience with scripting and automation (e.g., using Groovy, Python, or JavaScript).
Familiarity with Agile methodologies and project management principles.
Preferred Qualifications:
Jira Administrator Certification.
