Business analyst - Property & Casualty @ Capgemini Technology

Job Description

Roles and Responsibilities: -

Capgemini Invent is seeking an experienced Business Analyst with
deep expertise in the Property & Casualty (P&C) insurance domain to
join our Data-driven FRC team. The role will require the following:
Analyse complex business processes and workflows within P&C
insurance operations to identify inefficiencies and opportunities
for improvement
Gather, document, and manage business requirements from
stakeholders for system enhancements and new
implementations
Translate business needs into functional specifications for IT
teams and ensure alignment with business objectives
Develop and maintain process models, data flows, and
documentation using industry-standard methodologies and
tools
Perform gap analysis between current and future state
processes, identifying risks and dependencies
Facilitate workshops and meetings with cross-functional teams
to elicit requirements and build consensus
Create and execute test plans to validate system functionality
meets business requirements
Support the implementation of new systems or process
changes, including user acceptance testing and training
Provide subject matter expertise on P&C insurance products,
underwriting, claims, and regulatory requirements

 

Core Competencies: -

Proficiency in requirements management and modeling tools
(JIRA, Confluence, Visio, etc.)
Strong understanding of P&C insurance products, underwriting
principles, rating methodologies, and claims processes
Experience with personal and commercial lines including auto,
home, liability, and specialty insurance products
Experience with SQL and data analysis tools
Knowledge of Agile and Waterfall methodologies
Familiarity with insurance data standards (ACORD, ISO)
