Role Description


This is a full-time on-site role located in Pune for the position of director of the sales

Department at HeapTrace Technology. The role involves leading and overseeing the business

development initiatives, nurturing client relationships, developing growth strategies, and

collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive business expansion.


Responsibilities:


  • Formulating and implementing effective sales strategies to drive revenue growth and

meet sales targets.

  • Identifying new sales opportunities and fostering strong client relationships.
  • Establishing sales targets and accurately forecasting sales volumes.
  • Ensuring timely recognition and rewards for top achievers and implementing

necessary performance management actions.

  • Ensuring proper use of CRM databases and tools to track and analyze sales

performance.

  • Leading and inspiring the sales team through strong mentorship, coaching, and

guidance to achieve high performance.

  • Building strong, collaborative relationships with other internal stakeholders.
  • Analyzing sales performance data and developing strategies for continuous

improvement.

  • Monitoring market trends and conducting regular competitor analysis.
  • Collaborating with marketing and product teams to align sales strategies with

product offerings and customer needs.

  • Managing and handling the sales team to ensure alignment with company goals and

objectives.

  • Developing and managing the sales budget to ensure efficient use of resources and

maximize return on investment.


Key Requirements


  • A degree in Business Administration or a related field.
  • Proven experience and a strong track record of success in a senior sales leadership

role.

  • Demonstrated success in building, scaling, and leading high-performing sales teams.
  • Strong experience in consultative sales with the ability to prospect and manage

senior-level relationships.

  • A collaborative team player who thrives on helping others succeed and driving

collective success.
