Job Description
Position Summary:
We are seeking an innovative and technically skilled EdTech & AI Integration Specialist to lead the development and implementation of AI-driven educational technologies across our academic ecosystem. This role will focus on designing, integrating, and optimizing AI-assisted tools, content delivery systems, and learning experience platforms that enhance teaching, learning, and student engagement.
Key Responsibilities:
- AI & Tech Integration:
Design and implement AI-powered tools to personalize learning, automate assessments, and support faculty in content delivery.
- Platform Development & Management:
Collaborate with academic teams and IT to develop and maintain learning experience platforms (LXPs), learning management systems (LMS), and other digital ecosystems.
- Content Delivery Systems:
Optimize and integrate smart content delivery methods that adapt to learner behavior and performance analytics.
- Faculty & Staff Support:
Train faculty on effective use of educational technologies and AI tools; develop documentation, guides, and workshops.
- Research & Evaluation:
Stay current with trends in AI and EdTech; evaluate and recommend emerging tools for potential adoption.
- Compliance & Data Ethics:
Ensure all systems comply with academic policies, data privacy laws, and ethical AI use standards.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors or Masters degree in Educational Technology, Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, or a related field.
- Proven experience in implementing AI or EdTech solutions in a higher education setting.
- Strong understanding of instructional design principles, adaptive learning technologies, and LMS platforms (e.g., Moodle, Blackboard, Canvas).
- Familiarity with AI frameworks, machine learning models, and data analytics tools is a plus.
- Excellent project management, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with APIs, automation tools (e.g., Zapier), and learning analytics dashboards
- Knowledge of generative AI applications in education (e.g., ChatGPT, adaptive content generators)
- Experience working in cross-functional teams including academics, developers, and administrators
