Job Description
Role: SM: AI Solution Design & Architecture
Location: Johannesburg (Roodepoort), South Africa
Job Type: Contract (12 Months Possible Extension)
Start Date: Immediate joiners preferred (must be ready to travel within 12 weeks upon selection)
We are hiring for a Senior AI Solution Design & Architecture role with one of our prestigious clients in the telecom sector, based in Africa. This is a great opportunity for experienced professionals to contribute to cutting-edge AI initiatives in a large-scale enterprise environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the design and architecture of AI-driven solutions tailored for telecom and enterprise systems.
- Develop and implement scalable AI solutions integrated with CRM, ERP, and other enterprise platforms.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define architecture strategy and implementation roadmaps.
- Ensure solutions align with enterprise standards and drive measurable business outcomes.
- Drive adoption of MLOps and best practices in AI/ML lifecycle management.
Skills & Experience Required:
- 8+ years of experience in AI solution design and architecture, preferably in telecom or large enterprise environments.
- Strong expertise in AI/ML technologies including machine learning, deep learning, and data engineering.
- Proficient in AI/ML frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, Keras, Scikit-learn.
- Expertise in cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) for deploying and scaling AI solutions.
- Hands-on experience with data engineering tools (Hadoop, Spark, Kafka) and large-scale data pipelines.
- Solid experience in MLOps practices, model lifecycle management, and CI/CD for AI models.
- Ability to integrate AI with microservices architecture and build robust APIs.
Education & Certifications:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
- Certifications such as AWS Certified Machine Learning, Microsoft Certified: Azure AI Engineer, or similar are a plus.
Additional Information:
- Contract Duration: 12 months, extendable.
- Location: Roodepoort, Johannesburg South Africa.
- Joining Requirement: Immediate joiners only must be available to relocate within 12 weeks after selection.
