Job Description
Role: Azure Infrastructure Architect
Location : Greater Noida
Design and Implement IaC Solutions:
Develop and maintain Azure infrastructure as code using Azure Bicep. This includes defining resources such as virtual networks, virtual machines, storage accounts, databases, and other Azure services with +8yrs of experience.
* Automate Infrastructure Provisioning: Create reusable and modular Bicep templates and modules to automate the provisioning and configuration of Azure environments across different stages (development, testing, production).
* Version Control and Collaboration: Manage infrastructure code using version control systems (e.g., Git) and collaborate with team members through code reviews and pull requests.
* Ensure Infrastructure Consistency: Implement IaC best practices to maintain consistent and reproducible infrastructure configurations across all environments, preventing configuration drift.
* Integrate with CI/CD Pipelines: Integrate Bicep deployments into our continuous integration and continuous delivery/deployment (CI/CD) pipelines using tools like Azure DevOps.
* Monitor and Optimize Infrastructure: Implement monitoring and logging solutions for the provisioned infrastructure and continuously optimize it for performance, cost-efficiency, and scalability.
* Security and Compliance: Incorporate security best practices into infrastructure code and ensure compliance with relevant industry standards and company policies.
* Troubleshooting and Support: Diagnose and resolve infrastructure-related issues, working closely with operations and development teams.
* Documentation: Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for infrastructure code, processes, and environments.
* Stay Updated: Continuously learn and stay updated with the latest Azure services, Bicep features, and IaC best practices.
* Mentorship and Knowledge Sharing: Mentor junior team members and share knowledge on IaC and Azure Bicep.
Required Skills and Experience:
* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
* Proven experience as an Infrastructure as Code Engineer, Cloud Engineer, DevOps Engineer, or a similar role.
* Extensive experience with Azure Bicep for defining and deploying Azure resources.
* Strong understanding of Infrastructure as Code principles and best practices.
* Experience with other IaC tools such as ARM templates and Terraform is a plus.
* Proficiency in scripting languages such as PowerShell or Bash.
* Experience with CI/CD pipelines and tools (e.g., Azure DevOps, Jenkins, GitLab CI).
