Desktop Engineer @ Innovatiview

Job Description

We are looking for a proactive and customer-focused Desktop Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing technical support, managing desktop and IT infrastructure, and handling client-side issues efficiently. This role requires frequent travel to client sites within the city.

Job Responsibility

• Proven work experience as a Desktop Engineer, Technical Support Engineer or similar role.
• Hands-on experience with Windows/Linux/Mac OS environments.
• Working knowledge of office automation products and computer peripherals, like printers and scanners.
• Knowledge of network security practices and anti-virus programs.
• Ability to perform remote troubleshooting and provide clear instructions.
• Excellent problem-solving and multitasking skills.
• Ensure timely response and resolution of support tickets.
• Train and guide clients on basic IT usage and troubleshooting.
• Handle installation and maintenance of rental IT equipment at client locations.
• Create and maintain documentation of issues, solutions, and user guides.
• Customer-oriented attitude.

Requirements

• Willingness to travel frequently across assigned city and must have two-wheeler with a valid driving license.
• Proven experience as a Desktop Support Engineer or similar role.
• Strong knowledge of basic networking, and IT hardware.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to multitask and work independently.
