Job Description
- Execute the test plan for softwares in a comprehensive manner to evaluate their performance.
- Isolate the bugs and analyse their root cause to resolve them.
- Identify the new techniques and methodologies to improve the testing process.
- Analyse and identify the areas of improvement to meet the requirements of the clients.
- Collaborate with development and designing team to identify and capture test cases.
- Execute and update the test cases according the instructions of the seniors.
- Identify the bugs with test cases and discuss them with the development team.
- Carry out regression testing every time the code is changed to fix the bugs.
- Observe the performance reviews of the software development team to figure out the inefficiencies.
- Complete the given testing task within specified time in order to minimize the development cost.
- Develop various testing strategies in order to deliver the bug-free software to the client and streamline the testing process.
- Maintain the document of the testing results and report it to the seniors.
- Monitor the actual user interface and other business requirements to identify the errors in the website or mobile application.
- Collaborate with project manager and development team to understand the project requirements and modifications.
- Should be able to test the performance of the web and mobile applications.
- Proven experience in manual as well as automation testing of various web and mobile apps.
- Hands-on knowledge of identifying bugs in the product.
- Must have experience in the agile development process.
- Software development enthusiast with a knack for finding bugs.
- Must have a deep understanding of testing methodologies.
- Able to recognize the problems of the softwares which customers may encounter while using them.
- Should have excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Able to test the software comprehensively and make them bug-free.
- Should have a solid understanding of QA testing environments.
- Must have an in-depth understanding of software development lifecycle.
- Should have strong written and verbal communication skills to collaborate with development team and clients.
- Must have an excellent documentation skills to handover the bugs report to the team.
- Knowledge of cross browser / platform performance testing.
- Should have working knowledge of white box and black box testing.
- Must be active enough to update the development team about the changes and amendments required in the software.
- Proactive and self-starter to take initiatives and work independently.
- Flexible with the timings and determined to complete the task within the deadline.
- Able to create and maintain documentation of the bugs as well as performance of the software.
