About the Role:
We are seeking a motivated and results-driven Business Development Manager to spearhead
growth in our Data Sciences and Data Engineering vertical. This role requires someone with a
strong understanding of data-driven technologies, experience in B2B sales, and the ability to build
strategic client relationships that drive revenue and long-term business value.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify, develop, and convert new business opportunities in the Data Science & Engineering
domain
- Understand client challenges and recommend tailored data solutions
- Manage the complete sales lifecycle-from lead generation to negotiation and closure
- Collaborate with technical teams to create client-aligned proposals and solutions
- Develop strong relationships with clients to drive repeat business and referrals
- Keep up-to-date with industry trends and market developments to identify new areas of growth
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- 3-7 years of experience in business development or solution sales, preferably in IT, data analytics,
or related fields
- Understanding of Data Science, Machine Learning, AI, and Data Engineering solutions and services
- Proven ability to close deals and meet/exceed sales targets
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
- Ability to work independently and in cross-functional teams
- A proactive, client-first approach with strong problem-solving skills
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelors/Masters degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field
- Experience in working with mid to large-sized enterprises
