Job Description
Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and proactive Salesforce Administrator with hands-on experience in Azure DevOps to manage and optimize our Salesforce environment while streamlining development workflows and deployments through Azure. This hybrid role requires a strong understanding of Salesforce configuration, user management, and automation, combined with DevOps practices to support CI/CD pipelines, release management, and environment governance.
Key Responsibilities:
Salesforce Administration:
- Manage user accounts, roles, profiles, permissions, and data access.
- Configure and maintain standard/custom objects, fields, page layouts, record types, validation rules, and workflows.
- Implement and manage automation tools like Process Builder, Flow, and Approval Processes.
- Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues.
- Perform regular data audits, deduplication, and data quality checks.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into Salesforce solutions.
- Manage integrations with third-party applications and APIs.
Azure DevOps Management:
- Set up and maintain CI/CD pipelines for Salesforce deployments using Azure DevOps.
- Manage source control repositories (Git) and branching strategies.
- Automate build, test, and deployment processes for Salesforce metadata.
- Coordinate release schedules, sandbox refreshes, and environment management.
- Monitor pipeline performance and troubleshoot deployment issues.
- Ensure compliance with DevOps best practices and security standards.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- 4+ years of experience as a Salesforce Administrator.
- 3+ years of experience with Azure DevOps or similar CI/CD tools.
- Salesforce Administrator Certification (ADM 201) required; Advanced Admin or Platform App Builder is a plus.
- Strong understanding of Salesforce architecture, metadata, and deployment tools (Change Sets, ANT, SFDX).
- Proficiency in Git, YAML, and scripting for automation.
- Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and documentation skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with Salesforce DevOps tools like Copado, Gearset, or AutoRABIT.
- Knowledge of Azure services (e.g., Azure Repos, Azure Pipelines, Azure Boards).
- Familiarity with Salesforce development (Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Components).
- Experience in regulated industries (e.g., healthcare, finance) with compliance requirements.
