Job Description:

We are looking for an experienced QA Process Lead with strong expertise in Control Testing, QA Process Audits, and the Banking Domain. This role demands deep knowledge of QA governance, compliance, and quality frameworks to support audit readiness and risk management across projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Define, implement, and govern QA processes and control testing frameworks aligned with banking and regulatory standards.

• Lead internal QA audits, control reviews, and compliance verification activities.

• Collaborate with delivery and testing teams to ensure adherence to quality gates, SDLC processes, and audit requirements.

• Identify process gaps and drive corrective/preventive actions (CAPA).

• Interface with internal and external auditors to present testing evidence, process documentation, and control frameworks.

• Design metrics and dashboards to monitor process maturity, compliance, and quality KPIs.

• Conduct process training sessions, workshops, and QA onboarding for project teams.

• Continuously assess QA process effectiveness and recommend automation or optimization strategies.

• Work with stakeholders across Risk, Compliance, PMO, and Testing to ensure end-to-end governance.

Required Skills & Experience:

• 1014 years of total experience in QA, with at least 5+ years in QA process governance/control testing/audit roles.

• Strong domain knowledge in Banking or Financial Services understanding of compliance, regulatory requirements, and risk controls.

• Proven experience in control testing frameworks, quality maturity models, and audit readiness.

• Familiar with ISO, CMMI, SOX, or other quality standards.

• Ability to conduct Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and drive quality improvement plans.

• Excellent documentation, stakeholder management, and cross-functional leadership skills.

• Experience in tools such as JIRA, Confluence, ALM, QTest, or audit tracking systems.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Certifications such as CSQA, ISTQB Advanced/Test Manager, CISA, ISO 9001 LA/IA are a plus.

• Experience working with BFSI clients or in regulated project environments.

• Exposure to Agile, DevOps, or Hybrid delivery models with QA governance alignment.
