Why the Chat Operators role matters?
Our value proposition is to accelerate revenue growth for businesses by turning livechat into a CRO (conversion rate optimisation) solution. Our hundreds of customers - from leading global brands to ambitious start-ups - donot want a customer support bot, but a revenue-generating tool that moves theneedle on the digital marketing metrics they care about.
The Chat Operators will ultimately be responsible to deliver a high quality, accurateand consistent live chat experience using established engagement scripts andcanned answers, but should also be able to think on their feet when chat visitors gooff script.
Whilst human agents sit behind chats, our goal is to automate their workflows,minimising their required input through effective technology and conversation design.This enables scalability, quality assurance and ultimately increases our customers return on investment by reducing the cost of providing human- powered responses.
What the job involves
Ownership of all aspects in Chat Operations across the business with includes;
  • Effectively engaging with chat visitors, often several at a time and underpressure during peak periods;
  • Learning new knowledge banks and understanding the nature of new clientsand their products or services;
  • Learning and following established key operator questions and scripts;
  • Writing leads within a set timeframe and including appropriate and correct pieces of information;
  • Sending leads to the correct client, email address and with the correct transcript.

  • Understanding live chat and experience with live chat platforms;
  • Demonstrable ability to understand and respond appropriately to off-message user questions;

  • The Chat Operator must write fluent English.
  • Candidates should be able to demonstrate an ability to effectively engage and interact with online customers in a variety of different situations and varying industries.
  • Candidates should also be able to write and deliver accurate and precise leads that fully reflect the nature of the chat.
