Responsible for executing software development work as assigned, ensuring that internal IT software products are delivered in a fashion consistent with industry/company design, architecture, and quality standards as well as best practices.
How you will make an impact:
- Work with the team of internal PLM Functional and Technical architects and configure/customize the Windchill PLM system as per business & functional requirements.
- Translate PLM business requirements into functional, technical requirements, solution design and development.
- Design solutions and configure system using Windchill PDMLink, MPMLink and SUMA functional modules, data model, business rules and UI.
- Design solutions for Windchill business data model configuration and customization with Info*Engine components, web services, business rules and UI.
- Support integration of data from PLM to ERP, SQMS and MDM working closely with other Enterprise Systems and business stakeholders.
- Effort estimation of user stories, providing demonstrations for implementation.
- Lead efforts to determine operational feasibility by evaluating analysis, problem definition, requirements, solution development, and proposed solutions
- Document and demonstrate solutions by developing documentation, flowcharts, layouts, diagrams, charts, code comments and clear code on complex issues
- Improve operations by conducting systems analysis; recommending changes and formulating alternative solutions in policies and procedures.
- Source Code Management & Deployment Work Instructions.
- Build releases (weekly, on-demand, snapshots for local instances).
- High Availability configuration, documentation, and setup.
- Provide guidance on non-functional system requirements (e.g. Performance, Load Testing, benchmarking etc.)
- Author and maintain validation documentation related to the infrastructure/systems (e.g., work instructions for creating and deployment of builds and environment maintenance)
- Environment(s) refresh and rehosting.
- Writing and building deployment scripts.
- System Maintenance that includes upgrades, patches, remediate security vulnerabilities and install new releases.
- Monitor and perform Daily/Weekly/Monthly maintenance tasks to keep the system in healthy state.
- Remote File Server setup and maintenance
- PTC System Monitor administration, monitoring and reporting.
- Perform root cause analysis and resolve ServiceNow tickets.
- Keeps abreast of technical innovation by studying state-of-the-art development tools, programming techniques, and computing equipment; participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks; participating in professional organizations.

What youll need (Requir ements):
- Bachelors Degree preferably in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or related IT discipline.
- 5 -7 years of related working experience on PTC Windchill v12.1 or above and it s supporting applications installation, administration, configurations and customization.
- Hands-on experience with PTC Windchill core modules PDMLink, PartsLink, MPMLink, Windchill ProjectLink, Windchill Component and Supplier Management (SUMA) configuration and customizations.
- 5 to 7 Years experience of previous experience in IT demonstrating solid performance in a role working with cross-functional teams (within IT and/or within the business) on enterprise-level or complex/novel system implementations.
What else we look for (Preferred) :
- Should have a good understanding of Windchill Architecture, database, setting up change management workflows, user management, xBOM management, BOM transformation, Platform Structures, Variant configuration, Manufacturing Process Plans, Supplier Management.
- Hands-on experience with CAD Data Management (Creo, SolidWorks and Altium) and Integrations is a plus and preferred.
- Good understanding of design structures, product structure, product configuration, manufacturing processes.
- Hands-on customization experience using Windchill/Java Client Architecture(WCA/JCA).
- TIBCO Middleware and Pub/Sub EMS Implementation knowledge is a plus and preferred
- Good experience in working with multi workstream development environment using DevOps CI/CD tools and methodologies. Knowledge in GitLab is a plus and preferred.
- Experience with Windchill Bulk migrator to stage & migrate data is a plus & preferred.
- PTC ThingWorx Implementation knowledge is a plus and preferred.
- PTC Windchill certifications or affiliated trainings is desirable.
- Relevant industry experience (e.g. medical device, pharmaceuticals, etc.) or in highly regulated environments/corporate.
- Technical Skills required: Java, JSP, Java Script, XML, JSON, SQL, PL/SQL, Info*Engine Web Services, SOAP/RESTful Web Services , Ajax, Database tuning, Git.
- Excellent communication skills both written and oral. Need to be able to clearly communicate expectations to the team as well as report on progress in a clear and concise manner.
- Ability to establish effective working relationships in a team environment and be able to work independently to meet the project deliverables.
- Solid analytical skills and a strong attention to detail are required.
- Self-motivated, flexible, and adaptable to changing business needs and priorities.
- Substantial troubleshooting/debugging skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and work towards long-term goals.
- Ability to interact professionally with all organizational levels.
- Adhere to all company rules and requirements (e.g., pandemic protocols, Environmental Health & Safety rules) and take adequate control measures in preventing injuries to themselves and others as well as to the protection of environment and prevention of pollution under their span of influence/control
