Job Title: Senior Product Manager


Job Location: Onsite at Client Office in Delhi NCR


Experience: 8+ years of total experience, with at least 3+ years as a Product Manager


Qualification:

  • Bachelors or masters degree in computer science, Engineering
  • PMP/Certified ScrumMaster (CSM)/ Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI-ACP) certification would be advantageous

Required Skills:

  • Expertise in project planning, tracking, reporting, and managing escalations
  • Skilled in leading and coordinating large onsite project team.
  • Proficient in Agile estimation techniques, including story points and Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) creation, with hands-on experience in DevOps practices and cloud platforms such as AWS and Azure.
  • Extensive experience in ERP and custom development projects within the enterprise domain.
  • Hands-on experience using JIRA as a project management and issues tracking tool.
  • Proficiency in managing the full Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), from project initiation to closure.
  • Experience working on government and Public Sector Undertaking (PSU) projects would be preferred.

Role Summary:

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Senior Product Manager to lead product execution and client engagement at our clients onsite location. This role involves end-to-end ownership of product delivery, including project planning, agile execution, and coordination with multiple stakeholders. You will act as the primary point of contact with the client, ensuring clear communication and alignment on priorities and expectations.

This is a client-facing leadership position that requires strong communication skills, strategic thinking, and hands-on execution, including frequent verbal and written communication with clients providing regular updates, and addressing any project-related queries or concerns.
The ideal candidate will manage product roadmaps, facilitate release planning, oversee project and scrum timelines, maintain JIRA updates, provide status reporting, and ensure alignment with the clients business objectives. You will collaborate closely with Solution Architect, Business Analysts, and UI/UX Designers to drive successful outcomes.


Key Responsibilities:


Client Engagement, Leadership & Communication

  • Act as the primary point of contact for the client on assigned project, representing the CMS team and managing communication and expectations for project teams.
  • Collaborate closely with the Solution Architect, Business Analyst, and UI/UX Designer to gather, refine, and align evolving business & application requirements.
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships by providing regular status updates, leading review meetings, delivering product demonstrations, coordinating project activities and addressing feedback and escalations with timely corrective actions.
  • Respond to client feedback on delivery workflows, feature-related concerns, testing processes, and requirement discrepancies by implementing effective corrective and preventive measures to maintain client satisfaction.
  • Mentor junior team members, providing guidance and support for their professional development.

Product Ownership & Backlog Management

  • Define and manage a clear project roadmap, including milestones and a delivery strategy aligned with client goals, timelines and business priorities.
  • Gather and translate business requirements into clear user stories and features, ensuring prioritization based on business value.
  • Own and maintain the product backlog, and review project Requirement Documents (BRDs). Ensure the documentation and completion of detailed functional and non-functional specifications in the Software Requirements Specification (SRS) and Functional Requirements Specification (FRS) documents, and obtain client approval for finalized requirements.

Agile Planning & Execution

  • Lead and manage Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, backlog grooming, prioritization, daily stand-ups, sprint demonstrations, reviews, and retrospectives.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to plan future sprints, conduct capacity planning, and adjust priorities based on team velocity and business needs.
  • Oversee sprint execution, ensuring JIRA boards and tracking tools reflect accurate progress, dependencies, and issue resolution.
  • Ensure accurate tracking of all issue types (Epics, Stories, Tasks, Sub-Tasks, and Bugs) and update progress in JIRA.

Project Management & Delivery Oversight

  • Develop and manage overall project plan (WBS), delivery milestones, and timelines, ensuring coordination across cross-functional teams.
  • Monitor project execution by conducting review meetings, proactively identifying risks and blockers, and ensuring on-time feature implementation, change requests, and defect resolutions.
  • Lead the defined change management process, including identifying change requests, maintaining the change request register, conducting impact assessments, preparing CR documentation, obtaining client approvals and ensuring stakeholder alignment across development and testing phases.
  • Collaborate with development, infrastructure, DevOps, data science, HR, and recruitment teams to ensure seamless project execution.

Quality & Process Improvement

  • Develop and manage UAT scripts, ensuring thorough review and testing of client deliverables prior to release, with test cases and coverage aligned to the approved requirements.
  • Continuously assess and optimize existing business processes across application tracks.
  • Drive continuous improvement in Agile delivery, team collaboration, and client satisfaction.
