Job Description
The Purchase Executive is responsible for managing and coordinating procurement activities to ensure timely and cost-effective acquisition of goods and services. This role involves sourcing suppliers, negotiating contracts, maintaining supplier relationships, and ensuring compliance with company policies and industry regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Supplier Management:
* Identify and evaluate potential suppliers.
* Develop and maintain relationships with key suppliers.
2. Procurement Process:
* Coordinate the procurement process from requisition to delivery.
* Prepare and process purchase orders and documents in accordance with company policies and procedures.
* Ensure accurate and timely delivery of purchased goods and services.
3. Negotiation and Contract Management:
* Negotiate terms and conditions with suppliers to achieve the best value for the company.
* Draft, review, and manage contracts and agreements with suppliers.
* Monitor and ensure compliance with contractual terms.
4. Cost Management:
* Develop and implement cost-saving strategies.
* Monitor market trends and conditions to identify opportunities for cost reduction.
5. Inventory Management:
* Collaborate with the inventory management team to maintain optimal stock levels.
* Ensure timely replenishment of stock to avoid shortages and overstock situations.
* Coordinate with the warehouse team for efficient inventory management.
