About the role:

We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Research Collaborations Manager/Lead to join our Report Collaborations team. This role sits at the intersection of client engagement, research curation, and data deliveryensuring that every insight we produce meets the high standards expected by our clients and partners, which include industry leaders, investors, media houses, and influential organizations.

You will be responsible for engaging directly with clients to understand their strategic needs, translating these into actionable research objectives, and working closely with our in-house analysts to deliver expert-verified, data-backed insights through reports, summits, and market intelligence products.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Client Engagement & Relationship Management
    • Work closely with external collaborators (industry leaders, VCs, enterprise partners) to understand their data and insight needs.
    • Serve as the primary point of contact for research collaborators.
    • Conduct discovery sessions with clients to understand goals, data needs, and strategic context.
    • Build and maintain strong, trust-based relationships with external stakeholders.
  • Research Requirement Translation
    • Translate client objectives into clear, structured research briefs for internal analysts.
    • Collaborate with analysts and data teams to ensure alignment of deliverables with client expectations.
    • Review interim and final outputs to ensure precision, relevance, and actionable value.
  • Domain-Agnostic Research & Analysis
    • Conduct high-quality research across a variety of sectors, technologies, and business modelsquickly learning and adapting to new industries.
    • Dissect and structure open-ended client requirements into focused research frameworks.
    • Collaborate with in-house analysts and data teams to validate findings and ensure analytical rigor.
  • Project & Insight Delivery
    • Drive the end-to-end process for delivering collaborative reports, including timelines, approvals, and quality assurance.
    • Participate in regular check-ins with internal research, design, and data teams.
    • Ensure timely delivery of high-quality, insight-driven research products.

Candidate Requirements:

  • 46 years of experience in client-facing roles within research, consulting, market intelligence, or strategy teams.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to extract nuanced client needs and translate them into research briefs and reports
  • Understanding of B2B data, research, and market insight processes.
  • Strong project management capabilities and attention to detail.
  • Experience working cross-functionally with analysts, content teams, and designers is a plus.
