Job Description

Job Title: Project Manager Government & International Projects

Location: [Insert City, India]

Employment Type: Full-Time

Pre-Sales & Bid Management (India Government Focused)

Lead the preparation of technical proposals, solution documents, and presentations for central/state government RFPs, tenders, and empanelments.

Liaise with internal sales, proposal, and technical teams to align on solution design and strategy.

Represent the organization in pre-bid meetings, vendor briefings, and technical evaluations.

Ensure compliance with MeitY/GeM/CPPP norms and government procurement processes.

Project Management & Delivery

Manage end-to-end implementation of e-Governance, ITMS, ERP, LMS, or vertical automation projects.

Coordinate across internal teams, clients, and partners to ensure timely and quality delivery.

Prepare project plans, monitor execution, track milestones, and manage risk and scope.

Lead stakeholder communication, reporting, and project documentation.

Technology Oversight

Provide technical direction for cloud-based deployments (AWS, Azure, NIC cloud, MeghRaj).

Guide the architecture and integration of scalable, secure, and interoperable systems.

Ensure adherence to data protection laws, accessibility, and security standards as per Indian Government norms.

Research & International Exposure

Research and recommend emerging technologies (AI, analytics, GIS, workflow automation) applicable to governance and enterprise use cases.

Engage in cross-border collaborations and solution deployments in international markets (MEA, Canada, etc.).

Contribute to knowledge-sharing and capability-building through PoCs, case studies, and innovation pilots.

Required Qualifications & Skills:

Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, IT, or Engineering.

Minimum 6 years of experience, including 3+ years in government or public sector IT projects in India.

Proven track record of handling e-Governance, smart city, or digital India missions.

Strong understanding of Indias procurement ecosystem (eProcure, CPPP, GEM).

Prior hands-on software development experience (mandatory).

Knowledge of cloud environments (AWS, Azure, NIC Cloud) and deployment practices.

Proficient in project management tools and methodologies (Agile, Scrum, PMP/PRINCE2 preferred).
