House of Anita Dongre is seeking for the role of Deputy Manager - Fabric Sourcing. Industry : Fashion/ Apparel Role Overview: Candidate having an experience of 8-10 years in fashion & apparel industry and well versed with ethnic wear fabric sourcing, plays a pivotal role in ensuring the timely and efficiently sourcing of in-house fabrics for our production processes. Basic Knowledge of fabric testing parameter, that is count/construction/ gsm seam slippage, tearing /tensile, colour fastness etc. Basic knowledge of dyeing and printing of fabric and chemicals. Candidate should be good with excel, making reports and trackers of all styles. He/She should have knowledge of making PO and sending it to supplier on time. Preparing and maintaining fabric tracker and conducting daily follow-up with mill and providing correct status of fabric to production team and garment vendor. Co-ordinating with garment production team and design team as well as seeking approval of l/dips and s/off on daily basis. Skills : Candidate must have good knowledge of women's wear fabric Like Rayon, Chanderi, Polyester, cotton, Schiffli, linen cotton flex, other foil print, panel print, rotary print and digital print etc. Educational Background: Diploma in Textile/B.tech in textile or any graduate in Supply Chain or related to field is preferred.
