We are seeking an experienced Senior Pega Developer/architect with 10-12 years of in-depth experience in Pega application development, architecture, and solution design. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership capabilities, deep understanding of BPM and case management, and hands-on expertise in implementing complex, enterprise-scale Pega solutions. This role involves close collaboration with business stakeholders, architects, and cross-functional technical teams.
Key Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and implement Pega BPM applications using Pega PRPC (Pega Rules Process Commander) version 8. x or higher.
Lead technical delivery across full SDLC from requirements gathering to production support.
Translate business requirements into technical specifications and solution architectures.
Define and implement scalable and reusable components within the Pega platform.
Mentor and guide junior developers and review their code/designs.
Collaborate with business analysts, architects, and QA teams for optimal solutions.
Maintain system performance, optimize rules, and troubleshoot production issues.
Support DevOps, CI/CD, and Pega deployment processes using tools like deployment manager, Jenkins and Git.
Stay updated on the latest Pega platform features, upgrades, and best practices.
Ensure compliance with enterprise standards, including security and data privacy.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
10-12 years of overall IT experience, with at least 8 years in Pega development.
Certified Pega CSSA (Certified Senior System Architect), Pega CPDC or Lead System Architect (LSA) preferred.
Expertise in Pega 8. x+ versions including App Studio, Dev Studio, and Case Management.
Strong experience in designing integrations using REST, SOAP, MQ, and other APIs. Working experience in Pega integration with Kafka streaming platform would be preferred.
Hands on experience in working with Constellation UI would be sought for.
Pega Gen AI features utilization would be sought for.
Proficient in Agile/Scrum methodologies.
Solid understanding of relational databases (e. g. , Oracle, SQL Server), data modeling, and reporting tools.
Experience with Pega Decisioning , Pega Customer Service , or Pega Marketing is a plus.
Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
Preferred Skills:
Experience in cloud-based Pega deployments (AWS, Azure, or Pega Cloud).
Exposure to Pega DevOps pipelines and automated testing frameworks (e. g. , PegaUnit, Selenium).
Experience in leading multi-location teams and offshore coordination.
Knowledge of other BPM tools or technologies is an added advantage.
