Job Description
We are looking for a BusinessAnalyst with a strong background in financial products, particularlylending, combined with expertise in creating dashboards, managing MS-SQL ETLprocesses, documentation, and effective project management. The ideal candidatewill act as a bridge between the business and technical teams, ensuring thatbusiness requirements are translated into functional solutions while workingclosely with development teams to drive projects forward.
What we expect you to do:
Functional Business Analysis:
Collaborate with stakeholders to gather,analyze, and document detailed business requirements, specifically for lendingproducts.
Understand and map lending productfunctionalities to system capabilities, ensuring alignment with business goals.
Act as a liaison between business units andtechnical teams to ensure smooth communication and project execution.
Conduct gap analysis and feasibility studies forenhancements or new implementations.
Dashboard Development, Data Analysis MSSQL ETLExpertise:
Design and develop interactive dashboards usingtools like Power BI, Tableau, or similar, to provide actionable insights intolending product performance and operational metrics.
Analyze large volumes of complex data to uncovertrends, optimize processes, and support data-driven decision-making.
Manage and streamline ETL (Extract, Transform,Load) processes using MSSQL, ensuring efficient data extraction,transformation, and integration across various systems.
Write, optimize, and troubleshoot complex SQLscripts, stored procedures, and queries to support data analytics, reporting,and system integrations.
Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and reliabilityacross all processes, enabling accurate and meaningful reporting forstakeholders.
Translate analytical findings into meaningfulvisualizations and comprehensive reports for leadership and business teams.
Documentation:
Prepare and maintain detailed documentation,including business requirements, functional specifications, process flows, anduse cases.
Document and standardize key processes forlending product configurations, updates, and new implementations.
Maintain user manuals, training guides, andrelease notes for system updates and project implementations.
Project Management:
Coordinate with development teams to ensuretimely delivery of projects, tracking milestones and deliverables.
Facilitate regular status meetings, updateproject plans, and escalate issues as needed.
Work with cross-functional teams to manage andprioritize project pipelines, ensuring resource allocation and timelyexecution.
Monitor post-implementation performance andensure ongoing support for lending products.
Requirements
What are we looking for:
- Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Finance, or a related field.
- 2-5 years of experience as a Business Analyst, preferably in lending or financial services.
- Strong knowledge of lending products , processes, and related regulatory requirements.
- Proficiency in MSSQL with hands-on experience in ETL processes and query optimization.
- Experience creating dynamic dashboards and reports using tools like Power BI , Tableau , or similar.
- Strong documentation skills with experience in creating process flows, BRDs, FSDs, and use cases.
- Proficiency in project management tools like JIRA, Asana, or MS Project.
