Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic General Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of our hotels located across the United Kingdom. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in hospitality management, exceptional leadership skills, and a passion for delivering outstanding guest experiences. This role is critical in ensuring operational excellence, financial performance, staff development, and high customer satisfaction across the property or portfolio.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead hotel operations, ensuring compliance with brand standards, health and safety regulations, and all legal requirements.
Drive performance across departments including front office, housekeeping, F&B, sales, and maintenance.
Deliver exceptional guest experiences by maintaining service quality and resolving guest concerns effectively.
Develop and manage annual budgets, forecasts, and financial plans to meet revenue and profit targets.
Implement strategies to maximize occupancy rates, ADR (Average Daily Rate), and RevPAR.
Recruit, train, and mentor hotel staff; foster a culture of excellence and teamwork.
Collaborate with marketing and sales teams to drive local and international business.
Maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, vendors, and local authorities.
Monitor and report on operational KPIs, implementing improvements where necessary.
Ensure all hotel assets are well maintained and operational efficiency is optimized.
Requirements:
Proven experience as a General Manager or Hotel Manager in the UK hospitality industry.
Strong knowledge of hotel management software and business systems (e.g., PMS, POS).
Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Financial acumen and experience in budget control and revenue management.
Customer-focused with a commitment to delivering high-quality service.
Degree or diploma in Hospitality Management or a related field preferred.
Right to work in the UK is essential.
