Job Description
Job Title: Backend Developer (Node JS)
Location: Chennai, Tamil Nadu
Experience: 4 to 7 years
Employment Type: Full-time, Permanent, Work from Office
Job Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain server-side applications using Node.js and TypeScript.
- Design and implement RESTful/GraphQL APIs for seamless integration with frontend applications.
- Work with SQL databases, ensuring efficient data storage, retrieval, and optimization.
- Utilize ORM frameworks (such as TypeORM or Sequelize) for database interactions.
- Optimize application performance and ensure high scalability.
- Implement security best practices to protect data and prevent vulnerabilities.
- Collaborate with frontend developers, product managers, and stakeholders to deliver high-quality solutions.
- Conduct code reviews, write unit and integration tests, and ensure code quality.
- Stay updated with the latest Node.js, TypeScript, and database technologies.
Required Skills:
- Strong proficiency in Node.js and TypeScript.
- Hands-on experience with SQL databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, etc.).
- Expertise in ORM frameworks like TypeORM, Sequelize, or Prisma.
- Experience with API development and microservices architecture.
- Knowledge of containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) is a plus.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and version control systems (Git, GitHub/GitLab).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to debug complex issues.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
Any Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
