Were looking for a VFX Quality & Workflow Specialist to join the Netflix India VFX team
This role is ideal for someone with deep VFX experience who can work across creative, technical, and vendor ecosystems to improve the quality and efficiency of visual effects in Netflix productions
This is a strategic, hands-on role focused on improving workflows, guiding vendors, and helping creative teams bridge the gap between intent and execution
Youll be involved early?spotting friction points before they escalate?while also reviewing work for consistency, quality, and alignment with Netflix standards
This is not a delivery or oversight role?you wont be managing vendors day to day
Instead, your focus will be on uplifting the ecosystem, helping teams work smarter, and aligning creative intent with scalable, future-facing execution
In This Role, You Will
Partner with the Netflix India VFX team across the full production lifecycle?from early planning to final delivery
Review and provide creative + technical feedback on shots, ensuring alignment with Netflix quality standards
Help interpret creative intent from directors and production teams into actionable, VFX-executable guidance
Collaborate with vendors and local studios to identify workflow gaps and suggest scalable, future-ready improvements
Share learnings across shows and help implement lightweight tools, templates, or practices that reduce friction and improve efficiency
Stay current on emerging technologies, including real-time rendering, virtual production, machine learning-based solutions, and other workflow innovations and assess their relevance to our productions
Offer early guidance on bids, scope, and execution strategies to support fair, transparent, and efficient vendor engagement
Work cross-functionally with internal teams including Post, Production, and Creative to ensure seamless VFX delivery
What Sets You Apart
710 years of experience in high-end VFX as a VFX Supervisor, CG Supervisor, or senior artist
Deep understanding of VFX pipelines, workflows, and production dynamics
Strong creative and technical instincts, with an eye for believability and storytelling impact
Skilled at bridging creative ideas and technical execution?especially when translating feedback for vendors
Collaborative, clear communicator who builds trust across teams and studios
Proficient in tools such as Nuke, ShotGrid, Frame
io, RV, and other cloud-based review systems, with working knowledge of Unreal Engine, Houdini, basic scripting, and experience using Google Workspace and Excel
Comfortable navigating ambiguity and solving problems calmly and practically
Brings clarity, maturity, and technical confidence into complex conversations
On-set experience or involvement in early production planning is a plus
