Senior DevOps Engineer - AWS @ Epam Systems

Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior DevOps Engineer with expertise in AWS, automation, and modern DevOps practices to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will drive innovation, streamline our deployment processes, and enable resilience and scalability within our cloud infrastructure. Responsibilities Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins and GitLab CI Manage and optimize infrastructure through Terraform and CloudFormation Configure AWS services to ensure scalability and security Collaborate with teams to deploy and manage data pipelines effectively Lead migration efforts from Jenkins CI/CD to GitLab CI/CD workflows Implement container orchestration strategies using Docker and Kubernetes (EKS) Create and refine automation scripts using Python, Bash, and Ansible playbooks Optimize monitoring and logging systems with solutions like Prometheus, Grafana, and ELK stack Requirements 5-9 years of experience in DevOps or related roles Expertise in AWS cloud platforms and services Proficiency in infrastructure as code tools such as Terraform and CloudFormation Skills in CI/CD pipeline tools including Jenkins and GitLab CI Strong background in scripting languages such as Python and Bash Competency in containerization and orchestration technologies like Docker and Kubernetes Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools, including Prometheus, Grafana, and ELK stack Nice to have Understanding of data pipeline frameworks and integration with cloud platforms Flexibility to use multiple DevOps tools in dynamic environments Showcase of leadership in DevOps projects and migrations,
