Program Engineer @ Deal Automations

Job Description

Role & responsibilities

• Develop, modify, and troubleshoot PLC programs (e.g., Siemens, Allen-Bradley, Mitsubishi, or others depending on project requirements).
• Design and configure HMI screens for machine and process control (e.g., Wonderware, WinCC, FactoryTalk View, etc.).
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (mechanical, electrical, production) to define automation requirements and implement solutions.
• Support the commissioning and startup of automation systems at customer or plant sites.
• Diagnose and resolve automation issues to minimize downtime and ensure system reliability.
• Prepare and maintain documentation, including control system architecture, wiring diagrams, and program backups.
• Follow safety protocols and comply with industry standards during installation and maintenance.
• Assist senior engineers with system design, testing, and validation procedures.

Preferred candidate profile

• Experience with SCADA systems.
• Basic knowledge of robotics or motion control.
• Familiarity with ISO, GMP, or other quality standards (depending on industry).
