Job Description
Here is the job summary -
We are looking for a dynamic and experienced Project Manager with a strong background in software development to lead and deliver high-quality IT projects. The ideal candidate will have 78 years of hands-on coding experience, a solid grasp of SDLC and Agile methodologies, and strong communication and leadership skills. This is a critical role requiring deep technical understanding, product understanding, client-facing experience, and the ability to drive projects to successful completion.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with clients and internal stakeholders to understand requirements and define project scope.
- Perform detailed analysis of requirements, effort estimation, and sprint planning.
- Create and manage project plans, schedules, milestones, and deliverables using tools like Jira, MS Project, or equivalent.
- Identify, assess, and mitigate risks proactively throughout the project lifecycle.
- Track progress against plan and manage project scope, budget, and timeline.
- Conduct daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, retrospectives, and other Agile ceremonies.
- Ensure clear communication with clients, delivery teams, QA, and leadership.
- Maintain project documentation and provide regular status updates to stakeholders.
- Foster a high-performing team culture with a strong focus on collaboration and accountability.
- Ensure client satisfaction through timely delivery, quality output, and proactive communication.
Must-Have Skills
- B.E./B.Tech in Computer Science or IT.
- 1014 years of total experience, with minimum 7 8 years of hands-on software development background (Java, .NET, etc.).
- 4+ years of proven experience in project management within IT services or consulting.
- Strong understanding of SDLC, Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Ability to handle multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skillswritten and verbal.
- Hands-on experience with project tracking tools like Jira, Trello, or MS Project.
- Strong client communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience in risk identification, mitigation, and resolution.
Good-to-Have
- Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or equivalent Agile certification.
- Prior experience leading QA efforts or collaborating closely with QA teams.
- Experience working with globally distributed teams and clients.
