The ImpactDesigning, implementing, and maintaining database systems for Databricks and SQL Server

ResponsibilitiesDesigning, developing, and implementing database systems, including database schemas, stored procedures, and other database objects.Monitoring database performance and optimizing queries to enhance efficiency.Implementing performance tuning strategies and techniques.Documenting database schemas, configurations, and proceduresProviding support to users and stakeholders on database-related issues.What Were Looking ForBachelor/Masters Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or equivalentMinimum 8+ years of strong database development experienceAdvance SQL programming skills, relational and dimension data modelingUnderstanding of database performance tuning in large datasetsExcellent logical, analytical and communication skills are essential, with strong verbal and writing proficienciesExperience in conducting application design and code reviewsProficiency with one or more of the following technologiesObject-oriented programming, Programing Languages (Java, Scala, Python, C#), Scripting (Bash, Powershell)Extensive knowledge of Database systems (Databricks, SQL Server, Oracle, Snowflake)Experience working in cloud computing environments such as AWS, GCP & AzureExposure to Orchestration technologies like Airflow & ETLExperience with large scale messaging systems such as KafkaKnowledge of Fundamentals, or financial industry highly preferredAbout S&P Global Market Intelligence At S&P Global Market Intelligence, a division of S&P Global we understand the importance of accurate, deep and insightful information.
