Job Description
Skills and exp
- Bachelor's degree in computer science/B.E. or equivalent
- Min 4 to 6 years of experience in Manual Testing and Test Automation using Selenium
- Proficiency in developing and executing automated test scripts.
- Experience with automation tools such as Selenium (Java), TestNG, and approaches like BDD, TDD, DevOps, kubernetes, CI/CD enablement, git, bitbucket
- Knowledge in BFSI domain, will be added advantage
- Experience in API testing
- Strong understanding of different types of functional tests (e.g., unit testing, integration testing, system testing, user acceptance testing).
- Experience in Java, including writing and maintaining test scripts.
- Ability to design and implement effective test cases and scenarios.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills to interact effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
- Ability to clearly document test cases, and defect reports.
- High level of attention to detail to ensure the accuracy and completeness of testing activities.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
Responsibilities
- Create clear, concise, and comprehensive test cases for functional, regression, integration, system, and user acceptance testing.
- Execute manual and automated test cases, documenting the results.
- Perform different types of testing (e.g., functional, regression, performance, security) to ensure software meets quality standards.
- Identify, document, and track defects using defect management tools.
- Develop, maintain and execute automated test scripts using appropriate tools and frameworks (e.g., Selenium, JUnit, TestNG)
- Track and manage defects through to resolution, ensuring proper documentation and closure
- Participate in requirement reviews, test case reviews, and sprint planning sessions.
- Provide regular updates on testing status, issues, and risks to stakeholders
- Developing tools/utilities for testing.
- Should not hesitate to write code, if required.
