Should have good knowledge and experience in fabrication and machining processes such as turning, milling, drilling, grinding, CNC and VMC processes, TIG welding, laser cutting and bending, powder coating, etc.
Should have experience in handling quality control and should be well verse with inspection tools like vernier caliper, micrometer, go no-go gauges, profile projector, 3D CMM, hardness tester, etc.
Scope of work includes visiting potential suppliers, qualifying suppliers based on their capabilities and facilities, vendor ratings, etc.
Should be willing to handle purchasing activities and other day-to-day engineering related activities as well
Should have own 2-wheeler and be willing to travel to suppliers and subcontractors.
Desired profile of the candidate *
Diploma or Engineering Degree in Mechanical
Good understanding of engineering drawings and various machining processes
Hands on experience in reading AUTOCAD & SOLIDWORKS drawings and models as well as in using measuring instruments
Good knowledge of machining processes like Turning, Milling, Drilling, Grinding, Laser Cutting and Bending, etc.
Experience in procurement of Raw Material and in interacting with job contractors and following up and coordinating with sub-vendors
Willing to handle other day to day engineering related activities
