Job Description: Cloud Dev Ops Automation Engineer/Lead
About the Group
Oracle s Enterprise Risk and Finance (ERF) is an evolving product engineering team within Oracle FSGBU (Financial Services Global Business Unit) with a suite of industry leading products. The focus of this team is to develop compelling products and services around Risk, Finance, Treasury and Regulatory Reporting for the Banking and Insurance industry. These products are built on a unified data architecture leveraging a combination of Oracle s latest technology offering together with best-in-class open-source technologies. This requires a focus on high performance computing for analytical workloads including the use of embedded artificial intelligence (AI)/ machine learning (ML) capability. Our group s goal is to help accelerate our existing customers journey to the cloud and launching new customers to our Cloud solutions in the next 12 to 18 months. Your Opportunity

Oracle is looking for an experienced automation Devops engineer to be part of our innovative, research team on t automation toolkit development who will help build Oracle s next generation Risk and Finance products. Your Responsibilities
Understand, design, create and execute automation Provisioning Pipe Lines across different Oracle Cloud Applications.
Automation Pipe Line Developments and Production Support
Designs, builds, deploys, and manages cloud applications and infrastructure, using automation, configuration management, continuous integration, and continuous delivery to streamline development processes and ensure system reliability
Work closely with product managers, developers to analyze and solve product issues
Well versed in working with collaborative tools like Confluence wiki, JIRA.
Provide support for investigation, troubleshooting and root cause analysis of issues including resolution.
Collaborate on new software features as well as enhancements to existing functionality.
Building and managing CI/CD pipelines for automated deployments and releases.
Collaborating with developers, operations teams, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth deployments and operations.
Communicating technical information clearly and concisely.
Troubleshooting and resolving issues with cloud infrastructure and applications.
Proactively identifying and addressing potential problems.
Staying up-to-date with the latest cloud technologies and DevOps practices.
Proposing and implementing improvements to processes and tools.
Automating tasks like building, testing, and deploying software.
Developing and maintaining automation scripts and tools.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Required Skills (Technical)
Great coding and Debugging skills (Unix Scripting/Bash ,Python)
Familiarity with containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
Experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI).
Experience in CI and CD using Docker & Jenkins.
Prefreably with Java and PL/SQL knowledge.
Knowledge of cloud platforms (Oracle OCI/AWS/Azure etc..) ,preferably Oracle OCI.
Analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills, the ability to see the root of the problem and come up with efficient, creative, and cost-effective solutions.

Should have excellent communication and presentation skills and can willing to go that extra mile to attain perfection
Proactive, willing to take ownership, ability to quickly learn new technologies and take up new tasks and initiatives
Should have excellent problem solving, analytical and technical troubleshooting skills

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Your Qualifications
Bachelor s Degree in Computer Science & Engineering.
Certifications in DevOps practices (e.g., Certified DevOps Professional) can also be beneficial.
You should have 4 to 8 years of experience in Designs, builds, deploys, and manages cloud applications and infrastructure, using automation, configuration management, continuous integration, and continuous delivery to streamline development processes and ensure system reliability.
Should have good Knowledge on Agile methodologies including agile ceremonies (SCRUM, Sprint planning, Backlog grooming and retrospective)
Experience with design ,development, build, testing and continuous integration tools.
Experience in regulatory and compliance domain is a big plus
