Job Description

We at EMIDS, are hiring for QA Architect.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and implement scalable automation frameworks for web, API, and backend systems.
• Define QA best practices, test strategies, and test plans for functional and non-functional requirements.
• Develop reusable and maintainable automated test scripts using Python and at least one other scripting language (e.g., JavaScript, Ruby, Bash).
• Lead API automation initiatives using tools like Postman, REST Assured, or custom Python scripts.
• Collaborate with developers, DevOps, and product teams to embed testing into CI/CD pipelines.
• Perform code reviews of test scripts and mentor QA engineers on automation standards.
• Analyze test results, triage issues, and support root cause analysis.
• Design data validation and integrity tests using SQL for backend verification.
• Introduce performance, security, and integration testing strategies as needed.
  

Mandatory Skills:

• Python (advanced proficiency)
• Selenium WebDriver (with Python or similar)
• API testing (REST, Postman, Python requests, REST Assured, etc.)
• SQL (for validating backend data)
• Minimum two scripting languages (e.g., Python + JavaScript/Bash/Java/Ruby)
