Job Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Pre-Sales Network Security Engineer to support our sales and technical teams by providing expert-level consulting, solution design, and implementation support for network security projects. The ideal candidate will bring a deep understanding of network security technologies, multiple OEM product portfolios, and a strong ability to communicate technical concepts effectively to clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate closely with the sales team to identify client business needs and translate them into technical requirements and solutions.
- Design and propose network security solutions across multiple OEMs, including Cisco, Palo Alto, Fortinet, Juniper, SonicWall, Check Point, etc.
- Prepare comprehensive solution documents, technical presentations, and Bill of Materials (BoM).
- Develop and validate high-level and low-level network security designs, particularly using advanced Cisco technologies.
- Engage with vendor technical teams to ensure compatibility and feasibility of proposed solutions.
- Conduct network assessments and readiness evaluations for prospective clients.
- Deliver detailed design documents, operational guides, and provide knowledge transfer to clients and internal implementation teams.
- Occasionally support project implementation during critical phases as required.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients to ensure long-term engagement and satisfaction.
Preferred Skills & Experience:
Qualifications:
- Strong expertise in Network Security, Firewalls, Routing, Switching, UTM, ISE, and Internet Security.
- Hands-on experience with leading security OEMs: Cisco, Palo Alto, Fortinet, Juniper, Check Point, SonicWall, etc.
- Excellent troubleshooting, problem-solving, and client-facing communication skills (oral, written, and presentation).
- Ability to manage complex solution designs and communicate value propositions to customers effectively.
- Cisco certifications such as CCNP, CCIE, CCDA, or other relevant security certifications are highly desirable.
- Bachelors Deg in Engineering or a related technical field.
- Additional certifications in cybersecurity or network architecture are a plus.
