Job Description
Role & responsibilities :
(i) Training Needs Assessment Identify training and capacity
development needs of electoral functionaries at various levels.
(ii) Programme Planning & Execution Design and implement national
training programs, including certification, refresher, TTF, and leadership
development courses.
(iii) Development of Training Resource Pool Build and manage a
network of electoral experts and master trainers to support state-level
trainings.
(iv) Curriculum Implementation Support the implementation of
curriculum recommendations in coordination with relevant faculty or
subject experts. Ensure that training materials remain updated,
contextually relevant, and in line with evolving best practices.
(v) Administrative management Ensure timely preparation and
submission of training reports such as budget utilization
statements, participant feedback and other such requirements.
Skills and Competencies
(i) Strong program and event management skills
(ii) Excellent communication, coordination, and interpersonal abilities
(iii) Understanding of training cycle management (TNA, design, delivery,
evaluation)
(iv) Familiarity with electoral processes and institutions
(v) Ability to lead teams and manage stakeholders
(vi) Proficiency in documentation, reporting, and MS Office tools
Desirable
(i) Experience in electoral management, training institutions, or government
capacity building initiatives
(ii) Exposure to curriculum development and training evaluation methods
(iii) Prior work experience with the government organization or other public
institutions
