Sify Infinit spaces was created as a subsidiary to house all investments into the Data Center space, specifically colocation. As on date, Sify has 12 Data Center locations spread across India and offers approximately 200MW of IT power to the market with 2 more to be ready by the end of the year. The latest iteration of our Data Centers is AI ready, liquid cooled certified for GPX ready workloads. Apart from these, Sify has also built Data Centers for multiple state governments to house and expand their digital ambitions.

About the Role : Automation Manager
Role Objective:
Data Center Automation Specialist will be a part of Process Automation Business Area for Datacenter Division of Sify Infinit Spaces Ltd.
This role is responsible for developing vendor for the software solution to automate and orchestrate the physical work processes that occur within data centers.
Our Datacenter Team depend on our systems to perform their work safely, securely, efficiently, and free of defects, resulting in high availability and reducing loss of resiliency for datacenters.
- You will be responsible for creating and delivering software solutions for automating the processes. In this role, you will have an opportunity to own design and development of various services.
- You will play a critical role in designing, implementing, and maintaining automated solutions for the efficient operation of datacenter infrastructure
- Develop and implement a comprehensive automation strategy for datacenter operations.
- Design and architect automation solutions to enhance efficiency, scalability, and reliability.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into effective automation workflows.
- Utilize scripting languages (e.g., Python, PowerShell, Bash) and programming languages to create automation scripts and tools.
- Integrate security best practices into automation solutions to ensure a secure datacenter environment.
- Provide support for automation-related issues and incidents.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to automated processes and scripts.
Qualifications
- Strong proficiency in scripting and programming languages.
- Experience with configuration management tools and orchestration frameworks.
- Knowledge of virtualization technologies and cloud platforms.
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
