Job Title: Loss Analyst (Junior)
Department: Loss Prevention / Supply Chain
Reporting To: Loss & Shrinkage Lead
Location: KochiRole Overview:
We are seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented Loss Analyst to support our loss prevention and supply chain operations. The candidate will be responsible for preparing daily performance reports, conducting in-depth data analysis, following up on key metrics with on-ground teams, and supporting review meetings with stakeholders and leadership. The role demands strong communication, stakeholder management skills, and an understanding of last-mile delivery processes.Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare, maintain, and circulate daily loss and shrinkage reports with actionable insights.
- Coordinate with ground operations teams to track, follow up, and ensure accountability on key metrics.
- Support review discussions with HI and TLs by providing performance data, flags, and follow-up points.
- Create and present decks for leadership reviews, highlighting trends, risks, and mitigation plans.
- Perform root cause analysis on loss incidents and recommend preventive measures.
- Use data visualization tools such as Looker Studio, Excel Dashboards, etc., for impactful reporting.
- Collaborate with multiple cross-functional teams including operations, finance, and audit.
- Maintain a centralized tracker and ensure timely closure of loss-related action items.
- Assist in supply chain audits and compliance-related tasks as needed.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Graduate/Postgraduate in Supply Chain, Data Analytics, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum 1-2years of relevant experience in supply chain, last-mile operations, or data analytics roles.
- Strong proficiency in MS Excel, Google Sheets, and data visualization tools like Looker Studio, Power BI etc.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a sharp eye for detail.
- Strong interpersonal and stakeholder management abilities.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Language Proficiency: Malayalam (must), English/Hindi (must).
Preferred Qualifications:
- Prior experience in e-commerce, logistics, or 3PL operations.
- Familiarity with loss & shrinkage control practices and SOPs in a logistics environment.
- Exposure to ERP or logistics management systems.
