Job Description

You will be joining a rapidly growing organization and taking on the role of a Mortgage Underwriter in either Hyderabad, Chennai, or Mumbai. Your primary responsibility will involve evaluating loan applications to ensure they meet established guidelines. This will require a thorough analysis of borrower financial information, appraisals, and credit reports to make well-informed lending decisions. Your attention to detail and ability to assess risk will play a crucial role in approving or declining mortgage loans while ensuring strict adherence to company policies and industry regulations. Key Responsibilities: - Reviewing loan documentation and assessing borrower eligibility. - Conducting risk analysis to determine loan viability. - Ensuring compliance with regulatory and internal standards. - Maintaining effective communication with loan processors and originators. To be eligible for this role, you should have: - At least 2+ years of proven experience as a Mortgage Underwriter. - Comprehensive knowledge of mortgage loan processes and regulations. - Strong analytical skills with a keen eye for detail. - Excellent communication and decision-making abilities. This position requires candidates to be comfortable with night shifts and ready to start by 21st October 2024. Roles & Responsibilities: Candidates with expertise in Live Underwriting, Pre-close Underwriting, and Post-close Underwriting. Experience in assessing the 4Cs (Capacity, Capital, Collateral, and Credit). Proficiency in reviewing Income, Credit, Title, and Appraisal. Ability to evaluate self-employment and rental income calculations.,
