- You will be joining Go Brilliant Technologies Private Limited, a company dedicated to assisting partners in addressing the challenges posed by technological disruptions and digital advancements in their businesses. As a Ruby on Rails Consultant, you will play a crucial role in managing the exchange of data between servers and users. Your main responsibilities will include developing server-side logic, maintaining the central database, and ensuring high performance and responsiveness to front-end requests. Additionally, you will collaborate with front-end developers to integrate their work into the application, requiring a fundamental understanding of front-end technologies. Key Responsibilities: - Design, construct, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable Ruby code - Integrate user-facing elements created by front-end developers with server-side logic - Identify and resolve bottlenecks and bugs, providing effective solutions - Uphold code quality, organization, and automation standards - Develop intuitive, interactive web applications using client-side and REST-based server-side code - Implement Microservices Architecture, Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA), and Event-Driven Architecture (EDA) in practical applications - Gain proficiency in various database technologies such as SQL Server, Oracle, Postgres, and MySQL - Demonstrate excellent knowledge of object-oriented analysis and design Preferred Skills: - Proficiency in RESTful Web Services and API development using Ruby on Rails or other Node JS frameworks - Experience in full-stack development encompassing front-end user interfaces and backend systems - Familiarity with JavaScript, React JS/TypeScript, Graph Query Language (GQL) - Hands-on experience with Elasticsearch/Solr - Exposure to Cloud Computing platforms like AWS/GCP/Azure Cloud Requirements: - Proficiency in Ruby on Rails, including common libraries like RSpec and Resque - Strong understanding of Ruby syntax and nuances - Familiarity with server-side CSS preprocessors like Sass - Knowledge of MVC, Mocking, ORM, and RESTful concepts - Ability to write clean, readable Ruby code - Skill in integrating multiple data sources and databases into a unified system - Competence in implementing automated testing platforms and unit tests - Experience working on Internet scale applications with a focus on performance, reliability, scalability, and security - Familiarity with development tools such as Bower, Bundler, Rake, etc. About Go Brilliant Technologies: - Offers a diverse workplace where employees are valued, heard, and engaged - Provides opportunities to work on global projects and engage with clients worldwide - Promotes flexible work hours and work-life balance - Recognizes and rewards excellent performers through career progression - Offers opportunities to work with cutting-edge technologies and tools - Provides employer-sponsored training and coaching both domestically and internationally,
