Job Description

    As a member of the Support organization, your primary focus is to deliver post-sales support and solutions to the Oracle customer base, all while acting as a dedicated advocate for customer needs. Your responsibilities include addressing post-sales non-technical customer inquiries through phone and electronic channels, as well as handling technical questions related to the usage and troubleshooting of our Electronic Support Services. Serving as a key point of contact for customers, you play a crucial role in nurturing customer relationships with Support and offering guidance and support to internal Oracle employees in navigating various customer situations and escalated issues. In the role of Sr. Support Engineer, you will function as the technical liaison for customers, Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs), and Value-Added Resellers (VARs) in resolving issues associated with the installation, recommended maintenance, and utilization of Oracle products. It is expected that you possess a comprehensive understanding of all Oracle products within your area of expertise, with a deep knowledge of multiple products and/or platforms. Your proficiency should extend across various platforms, allowing you to effectively carry out assigned tasks with minimal supervision from management. This position empowers you to operate independently, conducting thorough research and crafting innovative solutions to address customer concerns. The job responsibilities are diverse and intricate, requiring the application of independent judgment. You may even find yourself in a project lead role, showcasing your expertise and leadership capabilities. Ideally, you should have at least 4 years of experience with Core products or 5 years of experience with Applications products, coupled with a technical degree such as BS in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Science, Engineering, Math, Physics, or Chemistry, with a GPA of 3.0. Alternatively, for Applications, a proven track record of professional and technical experience is valuable, demonstrating a sound understanding of Applications at both functional and technical levels, preferably within the Oracle ecosystem. Your technical prowess and customer-centric approach will be instrumental in resolving issues, fostering positive customer relationships, and contributing to the overall success of the organization.,
