Job Description

As a highly skilled QA Lead specializing in Manual Automation with a strong focus on Python in the telecom sector, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and functionality of telecommunications products and services. Your expertise in Python will be pivotal in developing and executing automated test scripts, while your understanding of telecom systems will enable you to identify potential issues and areas for improvement. The ideal candidate will possess a blend of technical skills, leadership abilities, and a passion for quality assurance. In this role, you will lead and manage the QA team, ensuring efficient testing processes and overseeing the execution of test cases to ensure thorough coverage of software functionalities. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to define testing strategies aligned with overall business goals and coordinate with them to understand project requirements and specifications. Analyzing test results, reporting findings, and presenting data to stakeholders will be essential responsibilities. Additionally, you will be responsible for developing and implementing manual and automated test plans using Python, identifying, documenting, and tracking defects in telecom products and services, and mentoring and training junior QA team members on best practices and testing methodologies. Your strong programming skills in Python, experience with automation frameworks, and solid understanding of telecom systems and technologies will be key assets in this role. The successful candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, proven experience in quality assurance with a focus on manual and automated testing, excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, strong leadership and interpersonal communication abilities, and experience with version control systems and CI/CD pipelines.
