About the Role: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sr. Business Analyst to join our Finance team. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in managing the financial aspects of IT projects, ensuring accurate forecasting, budgeting, and accounting. This role requires a creative and forward-thinking individual who can effectively communicate and collaborate with business partners and technical project managers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Forecast, budget, and account for IT projects.
- Serve as the business partner and operational point of contact for all financial processes related to IT projects.
- Ensure forecast accuracy by cost type.
- Assist Technical Project Managers with Clarity tool use for all processes.
- Analyze and document business processes to identify areas for improvement and automation.
- Develop and maintain project plans, timelines, and budgets.
- Conduct data analysis to support decision-making and strategic planning.
- Facilitate workshops and meetings to drive project progress and stakeholder engagement.
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards.
- Provide training and support to end-users on new systems and processes.
Required Qualifications and Skills:
- At least 5 years of experience as a Sr. Business Analyst.
- Strong financial background, preferably with experience in IT project management.
- Critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in project management tools and methodologies.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Experience with data analysis and reporting tools (e.g., SQL, Excel, Power BI)
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Master's degree in a related field.
- Professional certifications (e.g., PMP, CBAP).
- Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle).
