Job Description
- JOB DESCRIPTION As a Software Engineer III at JPMorgan Chase within the Asset & Wealth Management, you serve as a seasoned member of an agile team to design and deliver trusted market-leading technology products in a secure, stable, and scalable way. You are responsible for carrying out critical technology solutions across multiple technical areas within various business functions in support of the firms business objectives. Job responsibilities Executes software solutions, design, development, and technical troubleshooting with ability to think beyond routine or conventional approaches to build solutions or break down technical problems Ensures secure and high-quality production code and maintains algorithms that run synchronously with appropriate systems Produces Testing Framework architecture and design artifacts for complex applications while being accountable for ensuring design constraints are met by software code development Proactively identifies hidden problems and patterns in data and uses these insights to drive improvements to coding hygiene and system architecture Contributes to software engineering communities of practice and events that explore new and emerging technologies Contribute to the creation of functional and regression test suites Analyze test results, record test activities and track defects. Manage priorities and set expectation when faced with multiple demanding tasks Coordinate activities of the regression AT team, ensure test execution, review, recording of results & other metrics, reporting issues Leading QA activities on a scrum teams Adds to team culture of diversity, equity, inclusion, and respect Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts and 3+ years applied experience Experience in using test automation tools for API functional testing Experience in Object Oriented Programming (.NET, Java,) and scripting languages (Javascript.) Experience in testing frameworks essential(Cypress, XUnit, TestNG etc) Have a strong QA base, knowledge in testing types & practices Have a strong knowledge on all phases of testing. Previous coding experience essential Ability to use initiative and willing to generate ideas to continuously refine testing processes to improve quality. Experience with continuous integration tools (Jenkins) BS in Computer Science or related field or equivalent experience. ISTQB Certification is advantageous ABOUT US,
