Inviting applications for the role of Lead Consultant- Site Reliability Engineer We are seeking a skilled Lead Consultant - Site Reliability Engineer 2 to join our team. This role requires extensive experience in managing and optimizing Akamai's suite of tools, particularly in CDN configuration, security settings, and automation using Terraform and Akamai APIs. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the reliability, security, and performance of our applications and services while mentoring junior engineers. Responsibilities Configure and optimize Akamai Property Manager for performance and reliability. Implement and manage Akamai CDN configurations, ensuring high availability and efficiency. Oversee and configure Akamai Web Application Firewall (WAF) settings to protect against threats. Manage SSL/TLS certificates and firewall settings to enhance security across applications. Utilize Terraform for automating Akamai configurations and infrastructure deployments. Develop and maintain scripts and tools for efficient monitoring and management of CDN and security settings. Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of Akamai services. Provide technical guidance and support to junior engineers, fostering a culture of knowledge sharing. Monitor application performance metrics and conduct troubleshooting to resolve issues promptly. Proactively identify opportunities for improvement in system reliability and efficiency. Qualifications we seek in you! Minimum Qualifications Bachelor's / Graduation / Equivalent with equivalent experience. Extensive hands-on experience with Akamai Property Manager, CDN configurations, and security settings. Proficient in Akamai WAF, SSL/TLS, and firewall management. Strong expertise in Terraform and Akamai APIs for automation purposes. Preferred Qualifications Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members and stakeholders. Excellent troubleshooting skills and a proactive approach to identifying and resolving issues.
