- Seeking an experienced and highly skilled Software Quality Assurance (QA) Engineer with 10-12 years of industry experience to join our growing team. As a Senior QA Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and functionality of software products by performing a variety of testing activities. You will work closely with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to maintain high standards of software quality throughout the development lifecycle. Your expertise will be essential in designing test strategies, leading complex testing efforts, and mentoring junior QA team members. You will be expected to proactively identify and address quality issues, driving continuous improvement in the testing process. Key Responsibilities: - Develop and implement detailed test plans, including functional, regression, integration, and performance tests. Collaborate with product owners and developers to understand requirements and ensure testing coverage. - Execute both manual and automated test cases. Develop and maintain automated test scripts using industry-standard testing frameworks and tools (e.g., Selenium, JUnit, TestNG). - Perform functional, regression, smoke, and user acceptance testing. Document and track defects, ensure they are properly reported, and provide detailed feedback to development teams for resolution. - Design, document, and execute test cases based on functional and technical requirements. Ensure that test cases comprehensively cover all aspects of the software. - Lead and mentor junior QA team members, providing guidance on best practices, testing techniques, and troubleshooting methods. Help improve the team's overall testing efficiency and effectiveness. - Work closely with development teams to ensure issues are identified, tracked, and resolved in a timely manner. Communicate test results, progress, and issues effectively to stakeholders. - Contribute to the continuous improvement of QA processes, methodologies, and tools. Stay current with the latest trends in QA and test automation technologies. - Perform non-functional testing such as load, stress, and performance testing using tools like JMeter, LoadRunner, or similar. - Create and maintain clear and concise test documentation, including test plans, test cases, and defect reports. Generate reports for management and stakeholders, highlighting the status of testing activities and quality metrics. Skills & Experience: - 10-12 years of experience in Software Quality Assurance, with a proven track record of working in complex and high-volume environments. - Hands-on experience with various testing tools such as Selenium, JUnit, TestNG, LoadRunner, Postman, JIRA, and others. Strong experience in automating tests for web and mobile applications. - Strong understanding of programming languages such as Java, Python, or JavaScript to create and maintain test scripts. Familiarity with version control systems like Git. - Strong knowledge of test methodologies and best practices including Agile (Scrum, Kanban), Waterfall, and DevOps environments. - Experience in performance testing and understanding of load, stress, and scalability testing. Knowledge of security testing practices is a plus. - Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Ability to think critically and find issues across different environments and platforms. - Excellent communication and collaboration skills. Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and understandably convey complex information. - ISTQB (International Software Testing Qualifications Board) certification or similar QA certifications are a plus. Good To Have Skills: - Experience with TypeScript. - Knowledge of testing frameworks like Jest or React Testing Library. - Experience with state management libraries like Redux or Zustand.,
