- Information Technology (IT) India 8 - 12 years Job Title: QA Lead/Architect Experience: 8-12 Years Location: Pune (Remote) Employment Type: Full-Time About the Role: We are seeking an experienced and visionary QA Lead/Architect with 8 to 12 years of hands-on experience in leading testing strategies, designing test frameworks, and architecting robust QA solutions. In this role, you will be responsible for driving quality assurance processes, mentoring QA teams, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality software products across multiple projects. Key Responsibilities: QA Strategy & Architecture: Develop and lead the implementation of comprehensive QA strategies and frameworks, with a focus on security testing for applications and systems. Team Leadership: Mentor, guide, and manage a team of QA engineers, ensuring effective execution of testing processes and adherence to best practices. Security Testing: Design and execute security test plans, including vulnerability assessments, penetration testing, and risk analysis to identify and mitigate security threats. Test Automation: Oversee the development and maintenance of automated test scripts and frameworks for security testing, leveraging tools such as Selenium, Appium, or custom solutions. Collaboration: Work closely with development teams, security analysts, and stakeholders to integrate security testing into the SDLC and ensure that security requirements are met. Risk Management: Analyze test results, identify security vulnerabilities, and work with the development team to address and resolve issues. Compliance & Best Practices: Ensure that testing practices adhere to industry standards, compliance requirements (e.g., OWASP, GDPR), and best practices in security testing. Continuous Improvement: Drive continuous improvement in QA processes and security testing methodologies, incorporating feedback and lessons learned. Reporting: Prepare and present detailed reports on security testing outcomes, vulnerabilities, and remediation efforts to stakeholders and management. Required Skills and Qualifications: 8-12 years of experience in QA with a strong emphasis on security testing. Proven expertise in designing and implementing security testing strategies and frameworks. In-depth knowledge of security testing tools and techniques (e.g., Burp Suite, OWASP ZAP, Nessus). Experience with test automation frameworks and tools, including integration within CI/CD pipelines. Strong understanding of application security principles, threat modeling, and vulnerability assessment. Familiarity with regulatory compliance requirements and industry standards related to security (e.g., OWASP Top Ten, PCI-DSS, HIPAA). Excellent leadership skills with experience in managing and mentoring QA teams. Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex issues and provide actionable solutions. Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to present technical information to non-technical stakeholders. Educational Background: Bachelors or masters degree in computer science, Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or a related field. Preferred Qualifications: Relevant certifications such as Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH), or Offensive Security Certified Professional (OSCP). Experience with cloud security testing and tools for cloud-based applications. Knowledge of secure coding practices and application security testing methodologies.
