GCP Data Engineer (ETL Migration)

We're looking for a GCP Data Engineer with strong ETL migration experience to join our team and lead the transition of legacy data pipelines to Google Cloud Platform.

Important Note:

• This opportunity eligible criteria - candidates currently residing in Tamil Nadu, including those from other states who are currently working in Tamil Nadu. Please note that this is a client-specific requirement, and profiles not meeting this preference may not be considered for further evaluation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Migrate ETL processes to GCP-native services (BigQuery, Dataflow, DataFusion, etc.)
  
• Design, develop & deploy scalable data pipelines
  
• Analyze existing JCL/ETL jobs and dependencies
  
• Troubleshoot production issues and support job performance tuning
  
• Lead estimation, testing, deployment, and monitoring
  

Must-Have Skills:
GCP (BigQuery, Dataflow, Dataproc, DataFusion, Terraform, Airflow), PySpark, Python, SQL, API Integration, Cloud SQL, Postgres

Experience:

• 5+ years in complex SQL and ETL development
  
• 2+ years in GCP at production scale
  
• Experience with DataStage, Autosys/Astronomer, GitHub
