Job Description
- As a QA Engineer with 5+ years of experience, specializing in Selenium and Python, you will take charge of overseeing the QA activities for a web-based application throughout its R&D release cycles. Your primary responsibilities will include conducting manual and automated testing in collaboration with the QA team to ensure the delivery of high-quality software. You will be expected to perform thorough testing on web and client applications, conduct API testing for integration validation, and design, implement, and run automated tests using Selenium and Python. Your involvement in Agile development processes, such as sprints and scrums, will be crucial, along with engaging with various teams like developers and product managers. Utilizing tools like Git for version control and Jira for issue tracking, you will play a significant role in the continuous integration and delivery pipelines by leveraging Jenkins and Azure DevOps. In addition, mentoring junior team members and advocating for QA best practices will be part of your responsibilities to ensure the team's growth and adherence to quality standards. To excel in this role, you should hold a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field, possess extensive experience in QA with a strong focus on Selenium and Python, and demonstrate proficiency in manual and automated testing techniques. Your familiarity with Agile methodologies, tools like Postman for API testing, and databases for validation, such as MS SQL, will be advantageous. Furthermore, your technical expertise should encompass tools like Visual Studio/VS Code, Git, Azure DevOps, Jira, Postman, and Jenkins, along with skills in Manual Testing, Automated Testing, Selenium, Python, MS SQL, and more. Your problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, and effective communication and collaboration skills will be essential for success in this role.,
