Job Description

    As the Group Manager, Field Operations at Microsoft, your primary focus will be on managing the order-to-cash lifecycle of Microsoft products and services. You will lead pre-sales processes by effectively managing the pipeline to ensure successful closures that secure revenue, while also optimizing deal management processes in collaboration with the field team. In this role, you will work closely with Operational Deal Management (ODM) teams across Asia, other ODM Managers in different Asian markets, as well as peers from Transact Services, Vendor Operations Management, and other regions such as Europe and Americas. Key collaboration with Sales and Marketing roles across Asia will be essential for success. Microsoft's mission is to empower every individual and organization globally to achieve more. Qualifications: - Bachelor's Degree in Business, Operations, Finance, or related field with a minimum of 6 years of experience in program management, process improvement, or related areas - 4+ years of management experience in various capacities such as people, project, process, vendor, or change management - Proficiency in English for effective verbal and written communication - Deep understanding of Asian business culture and experience in sales operations preferred - Ability to navigate ambiguity, work efficiently in a fast-paced environment, and influence outcomes without direct authority - Strong virtual teaming skills including facilitation, leadership, and administration - Excellent analytical, problem-solving, judgment, and decision-making abilities Responsibilities: - Drive an efficient end-to-end deal advisory engine through ODMs, engaging sales teams for timely deal closures and shaping deal constructs - Maintain a clear understanding of critical success factors for Microsoft Asia markets and adapt strategies accordingly by staying informed about customer and business trends - Ensure high-quality and timely deal processing, efficient fiscal close reviews, and effective communication with senior field and operations leadership - Lead the ODM team to deliver optimal business value, contribute to global ODM initiatives, and foster a diverse and inclusive environment within Microsoft Business Operations - Support team success through empowerment, accountability, modeling Microsoft's culture and values, coaching for performance, and caring for individual growth and development Benefits/perks may include industry-leading healthcare, educational resources, discounts on products and services, savings and investment options, maternity and paternity leave, generous time-off policies, giving programs, and networking opportunities, which may vary based on employment nature and location.,
